PermoAfrica Centre, Paul Odiwour Ogola

Paul Ogola launched PermoAfrica centre after a PDC with Sector39 and support and encouragement from his community

Paul is a 2016 graduate from S39 and went on to launch his own highly successful training centre in his home region of Homa Bay.
In many ways Paul is pioneering models for permaculture education and successfully reaching many people in his area. S39 have supported him throughout with teaching resources, lesson plans and some donations. In 2018 he joined our training team in Adjumani working with South Sudanese refugees.

Paul is one of the lead tutors for S39 permaculture and we will be building and helping extend his training network over the course of the coming three years of this project.

Mfangano Island

Sector39 and PermoAfrica Centre are collaborating to bring more permaculture design to Mfangano Island, where a rapidly growing population, economically dependent on fishing and charcoal burning has depleted its resource base.
